The first district in South-Rotterdam when you cross Erasmus bridge
Feijenoord is a district in Rotterdam. The football club Feyenoord is in IJsselmonde. In this residential area live 76.000 people and is located south of the Nieuwe Maas.
This district has been undergoing further development for a number of years now. Houses and apartments are being added. Other places are being renovated.
Feijenoord may not be the greenest district, but there are different city parks. The Valkeniersweide, Varkenoordse Park, Parkzicht, Kaappark, Nassauhavenpark, Hefpark and Ons Park.
There are three metro stations in this district. Wilhelminaplein, Rijnhaven and Maashaven are the metro stations for the metro lines D and E.
The tram runs over four lines through the district. Tramlines 2, 20, 23 and 25 run through most of Rotterdam-Zuid. Wilhelminaplein tram station and Randweg station are the most important stations.
This district also has a train station, Rotterdam-Zuid. This station is between the Oranjeboomstraat and the Rosestraat.
Within walking distance there is a bus station everywhere.
